The Levitating Dice are magnetically levitating polyhedral dice that hover in the air. A magnetic field keeps the dice floating and rotating delightfully, making this one of the coolest dice sets ever! The Levitating Dice come as either a set of 7 dice (d4,d6,d8,d10,d%,d12,d20) or as a single D20. The current Base holds one die at a time.

DAZZLING AS WELL AS FUNCTIONAL. Be the envy of all your dice goblin friends with these hypnotically floating dice. Visually spellbinding on any tabletop, the primary objective was to make it functional. It’s great as a set piece, but even cooler when picked up and rolled.  All of the Levitate Dice can be grabbed out of mid-air and rolled like any other dice set.

DICE DESIGN

We have experimented with many different colors and materials like the ones you see in our Kickstarter video and some of the Kickstarter campaign graphics. The four designs below are our initial offerings. 

Each dice set will contain all 7 traditional dice (d4,d6,d8,d10,d%,d12 & d20). All dice will be able to float individually over the base, one dice at a time.

DICE BALANCE

BALANCED. Small, lightweight magnetic spheres are positioned centrally within the Levitating Dice, which greatly minimizes any impact to the overall balance. We are using a professional dice manufacturer with stringent standards and testing methods to ensure the integrity and balance of the dice. They are well balanced and suitable for any casual dice game (including all of your tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Rolemaster, etc.).

THEY SPIN FOREVER

As if by magic, each Levitating Die defies gravity and twirls above its base without any noticeable resisting force, allowing the dice to spin in the air for very long periods of time. With no opposing force, outside of the air resistance from fans and AC units, the Levitate Dice seems to spin forever, or at least a few days.

The base holds one die at a time. Currently, the base requires AC power, and there are plug adaptor options for the United States and the rest of the world.
